Suzanne Wilding

American author. Ms. Wilding wrote a well-loved traditional pony series about two horsy sisters, and also edited two books of short horsy fiction. As well as the pony books noted, she also penned some non-fiction books on horse care and riding and a book about the winners of America's Triple Crown. Many of her books are illustrated by the great horsy illustrator (and fellow pony book author) Sam Savitt

Robin & Wendy Series:
Traditional series which is quite unsual in that the reader age each book is aimed at increases as the characters grow older. The first two books mainly concentrate on Robin, the third more on her older sister Wendy.

Collectors info:
None of these were published in the UK and may therefore be quite hard to find in Britain. However they are reasonably easy to find in American, especially Big Jump for Robin, which is the most commonly seen of the trio.
